NEARPOD
Description of the tool
-
Nearpod helps educators make their lessons more interactive whether in the classroom or virtual. Nearpod can be used in a variety of ways to support student learning. Students can take multiple choice quizzes, post notes or images to the collaboration board, answer open-ended questions, respond to a poll or draw on a map. It is an amazing tool enabling students to take ownership of their own learning rather than passively viewing a teacher-directed whole class presentation.

How it works
Time to Climb is a multiple-choice quiz game that can be played in Live or Student-Paced lessons.
Open-Ended Question can be added to your lesson for students to respond with a written or audio response.
Matching Pairs allows students to match text to images, text to text, or image to image.
With a Quiz, you can add multiple-choice questions to your Nearpod lesson.
Flipgrid allows students to record short videos and share them with their teacher and class.
The Draw It activity allows students to respond to a prompt with drawings, text, and images.
Collaborate Board is an interactive discussion board that allows students to post text and images to a shared class board. It's a great way to spark class discussion, brainstorm, or check in on how students are feeling.
Poll activities allow teachers to ask a multiple choice question without a right answer to check for understanding, take a class vote, highlight student opinions, and more.
Fill in the Blanks is a drag and drop activity that allows students to complete a passage and populate blanks with words.
Memory Test shows students a grid of "face-down" image cards that they click on one by one to reveal an image. Their objective is to match identical images.
